A nice chord progression I’ve been playing with for a couple of days. Originally written on guitar with considerable tremolo effect. Reminds me of an unwritten Tobin Sprout song when played that way. The piano that would accompany just sounds like a comfortable and unassuming practice piece played in a living room on a lazy Fall afternoon. Or something off a Margo Guryan record. 🤷

Here you go. The second single from the upcoming Ramones tribute album: "Beat On the Brat" backed with "Listen to My Heart".
The full-length album is a recreation of the Ramones' debut album, in honor of its 50th anniversary. It is called "Tomorrow the World" and should be available 2 January 2026.

As covered in an earlier post, this one-off electronic style track is not in the usual style of True Red, but I was trying a couple of things production wise -- experimenting with a couple of different things and this is the end result.
I thought it was really great, so I wanted to share it. "The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Rhythm". There isn't much in the way of lyrics to begin with, but the song does come paired with a fully instrumental version. Have a listen and enjoy!

I was attempting to teach myself a couple of different technical things this past weekend. In doing so, I ended up with this. "The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Rhythm".
Of course, this is far and away from True Red's brand of rock music, but it is no less genuine. It's always nice to leave where you live and visit new places. That's how I feel about this track.

Yes! A simple homemade music video -- I haven't done one of these in years! Got some supplies and set them up on June 7 and filmed and edited yesterday, June 8. And here on June 9, in all of its glory, is a sweet little performance video for "Saturday Night in the Warehouse", the title track from the 3-song release that comes out on June 27. It will be streaming everywhere.
Of course, it will be available for download here on the website in mp3 and FLAC format as well.
